Sailing the Balonne River, QLD

St George is a lovely town on the Balonne River. It is an impressive river considering the drought.  
It was a gentle breeze for sailing! We threw the Tiwal 2 in the water and I sailed up the river passing a couple of white ducks and a river cruise boat.  
We stayed at the Australian Hotel, which is right on the waterfront.  
The Country Music Festival was on and we laughed til we cried at the Bush Poet’s Breakfast!
